You're frozen when your heart's not open	x x x x x	If I could melt your heart	x x x x x	We'd never be apart

The scent of blood drifted freely on the breeze. No more was the peace and harmony we once knew. Death came

more often than not. Blood was the quencher for the thirsty ground. No more was water needed. As I walked these
realizations hit me like a slap in the face. I could remember a time back when peace was true and harmony was ruler. Vampires killed
quietly all the criminals and drank only a little of the blood of those that allowed them Half-bloods were the wonders of the animals and
humans. Walking with the humans during the day and hunting with the animals by night. Witches and Sorcerers cried out excitedly as
they neared a place where they could find supplies. They healed the sick when they wanted and let their vast knowledge be heard by those who
listened. Werewolves created the music of the night that called the humans to sleep. Some even served as guards.

What could have sent this harmony spiraling to disaster and hatred? What could have made the humans want to

kill the wonders that made life so enchanting? So desired? What indeed. I whispered. I looked up and saw a young woman being

attacked by a thug. I rushed over with all the speed of the wind at my heels. I roundhouse kicked the thug and clawed him with my long nails.

He was passed out and I turned to the young woman I had saved. She smiled at me gratefully until she realized what I was.

Then she screamed and pushed away the hand I had extended in an offer to help her up. Men began rushing out, armed with weapons designed

to kill. I had done nothing wrong to deserve this. I ran and tried to loose them in the shadows. Screams erupted into the air as I heard the

baying of wolves. The sound was beautiful, but it struck terror in the hearts of humans. I longed to turn back and call them off but I was forced to run.

I felt a presence and looked to my right and left, on both sides were my friends. I ran knowing that they where

with me forever, to the bitter end that was to come. Humans wanted us dead.

But the humans have reason for hating us. Within every race is evil, which cannot be doubted. Within the purest of hearts

is evil, the same is said for the evilest. A foolish youth attacked all those who defied him. This foolish youth was supposedly

the cause. The humans decided to rebel against us. They wanted us to exist no longer. So they decided to kill us all. But we killed them too.

So forever we are locked in this war. The life we once lived frozen in the distant past. Now they are only fantasies told by the fire.

The fantasy we tell frozen forever in the distant past. Welcome to our world, our life. Welcome to Frozen Fantasy.

The coldest and harshest season of the year has fallen upon the people. The weather is very crazy and unpredictable; storms and blizzards appear out of nowhere. Snow covers the ground heavily in some parts, especially in Melor which is located high in the Weiclid Mountains. The best thing to do during this time is snuggle up with a blanket, roast smores, and enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa infront of the fire.
